How will the person enrolling for the course get practical knowledge?
This is a good question. Your experience using the developer edition will be useful for helping you to learn your way around the Salesforce.com web site but solving real-world challenges will require an actual business setting.
I haven't yet done this myself but others have suggested seeking out a local non-profit that uses Salesforce.com but perhaps is struggling to make it work for them. Salesforce offers free accounts to small non-profits and I suspect that there could be a few non-profits in your area that received their free accounts but then discovered they would have to pay a consulting firm $100-$150 an hour to help them get started, and would love to have your help!
